The above-mentioned web hosting services are all reliable and established companies. At the moment, they are offering FREE domain Name upon ordering one of their hosting plans or packages. Actually, I’ve been proudly one of Host Monster customers since 2007 and I have to admit that I am 100% happy with the service not because of its affordable price, but also because of its amazing features.

Until now, I’ve been able to host a couple of my websites on its servers without any problem, transfer a few domain names to my account for FREE and also got a FREE domain Name (Yes, Real Dot Com Domain).

So, if you are planning to create a real solid business, you need to consider your website as a professional tool. Running a free website on a free server is not always the best option. Even if you are on a tight budget, a totally-free website won’t help you very much.

You can, however, try some free hosting providers out there, but sooner or later, you will realize the necessity of having your own website with a real domain name extension on a hosting server which you will have full control on.

It is the most common mistake many beginners make on the way of building their online businesses and often don’t even understand the reasons of their failure. I have been there and made some mistakes, too. But, I have learned a lot and created an established Internet business getting improved all the time. Now, it is your turn to succeed.

Go ahead and visit the above-mentioned hosting services while their offers are still on the table. There is no guarantee that those companies will always keep these special offers. When it’s gone, it’s gone forever!

Analyzing Your Own Website

Analyzing Your Own Website is the very last stage of website development and management when you analyze your efforts and figure out how you can improve your results. This stage of your business should be the core of your next moves and can be considered as the secret key to your website success.

As  mentioned before in the step of Tracking, your job is to find out what has worked and what has not. Then, you start testing different elements and techniques in order to discover the winner strategies. Now, it is time to sit down, prepare a report of your Tracking and Testing and Analyze the results. That way, you would be able to know how to remove the losers, avoid your mistakes and strengthen the winners. No wonder you will get promising results.

When it comes to Analyzing Your Own Website, it doesn’t matter if you do the job by yourself or ask someone else to do that for you. The only thing that matters is to list the most important factors of your website to be monitored and get to work on. But, what factors?

In this post, I am going to point out a few of the most important factors of your web stats information which play a very large role in your site effectiveness. If you want desired results, you’d better analyze each of the following information:

1. Number Of Hits & Visits:

Whether it is Unique Visitors or just Hits, you should be able to know how many visitors you have received in a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Also, you have to find out which days bring you the greatest hits. Moreover, you need to even know at what time your site gets the most visitors. These factor are all crucial for your analysis and help you get a better picture of your website performance.

2. Visits Per User:

Knowing if your visitors are unique and new or returning could determine if your site has been active over time. New and unique visitors are a good sign of being known and popular and is an elementary factor for branding purposes.

3. Average Time On Site:

This factor has a significant role in determining your site feedback. If people enjoy your website, they keep staying on your pages, browsing and navigating your links and getting the most out of your content. That way, you would be able to build a relationship with them and give them value. With that being said, your visitors may trust you and give you credit. So, the more you make people stay on your site, the better chance you have to convert them into buyers and customers.

If your audience don’t enjoy your website or don’t find what they are looking for, they will leave your site as quick as possible. So, your site must be very user friendly and offer the right solution to their problems as soon as they land on your site. Usually, most people leave a useless website in less than 30 seconds. So, your site should look like an eye-catching and outstanding website in the first look. Then, it must deliver the great content to the targeted audience. Sometimes, it is called the 5-second rule which means you must grab the attention of the visitor in the first 5 seconds of their visit. Otherwise, they will leave and won’t even look back.

4. Bounce Rate:

This data is very closely tied to the previous factor, Average Time a visitor spend on your site. Basically, it  refers as the average percentage of initial visitors to a site who bounce away to a different site, rather than continue on to other pages within the same site. They could click on a link and go to that website or type a new URL Address in their Internet Browser and leave the site. Eventually, some of visitors push the Back button or close the Window or Tab.

Bounce Rates can be used to help determine the effectiveness or performance of an entry page. An entry page with a low Bounce Rate means that the page effectively causes visitors to view more pages and continue on deeper into the website. Although there is not any certain standard amount of maximum and minimum time for Bounce Rate, it can be determined by the session timeout of the analytic tracking software.

So, for having a more effective website, you should require your visitors to be active on your web pages and want them to stay and navigate instead of leaving instantly by providing them with high quality content. Since this data could be tracked quickly by some reliable tracking software, you will be able to get an accurate feedback of your website in a matter of days, not months and years.

5. Most Visited Pages:

The pages your audience visit most of the time can also be monitored and tracked. Knowing what pages have been seen by the majority of your visitors can help you find the winners and cut the losers. That way, you can improve your effectiveness of your site by increasing the quality of your Most Visited Pages and also put your Call-To-Action Elements on those web pages which can end up in very high conversion rates.

6. Referring Websites:

Referrers are web pages out of your site that have linked back to your website and referred their visitors to you. It is crucial to find out what other websites have sent you a flow of traffic. If you figure out that the referred traffic is targeted, then you should maintain and strengthen the source of that traffic and improve it. No matter if it is a simple blog, a newsletter or an authority website. As long as it works, it is worth working on.

7. Entry & Exit Pages:

Entry Pages are pages of your entire website that a visitor has entered from and Exit Pages are those that a visitor has exited the site from. Probably this data is tightly connected to the “Most Visited Pages” data, but it can more specifically show you how your site quality affects your visitors.

A powerful and attractive Entry Page can cause the visitor to fulfill the website’s goals. If people land on an attractive and interesting web page being asked what to do next, they will easily do it. On the other hand, an ugly and complicated Entry Page just confuses the user and makes them leave the site as quick as possible.

Discovering the Exit Page is also important especially if the people who leave don’t convert. You see, there should be a problem or a weak point on that web page that causes the visitor to exit the website without taking the desired action. That way, you would be able to improve the page and increase its quality. The bottom line is getting higher conversion rates.

8. Demographics:

Nothing is more important than finding out your audience Demographics Profile. If you don’t know what kind of people visit your website and take the desired action, how could you focus your efforts and improve the results? Your  Visitors’ Demographics Profile is an essential data for your Web Analysis.

While getting the accurate data about your site users’ information is not a simple task, it is doable by reliable tracking software. When it comes to Demographics Profile, information such as Location, Age and Sex come to our minds. However, some tracking efforts could end up in finding out more detail information such as Race, Income, Educational Attainment, Employment Status and so forth. Sometimes, you may even be able to know what kind of Internet Browser your visitors use and which Operative System they have on their computers. All of this data should be used to optimize your website for compatibility with as much audience as possible.

9. Search Engines:

Traffic from Referring Websites can be divided into many groups. One of the largest groups of traffic sources are Search Engines. Finding out which of them has sent you the most traffic can be monitored very closely and determined if it is effective or not.

Visitors who come directly from Search Engines are generally considered as targeted traffic. With that being said, you need to know the best referrers and analyze the results. Then, you can implement your techniques on other players and get similar results. Of course, each Search Engine has their own rules and strategies, but when it is doable in one of them, it is achievable in others, too.

10. Keywords and Key Phrases:

This data is tightly connected to the traffic from Search Engines and represents the words and phrases visitors typed in the Search Engines before finding your site in the results and clicking through it. This information is one of the most crucial data for analyzing your site traffic and Search Engine Optimization. If you find out what keywords your website has ranked on the search Engines for, you would be able to optimize your site better for getting more targeted traffic.

11. Click Through Rate:

This data is referred as the ratio of the users who clicked on a link on a web page by the number of times that link was shown. It could be an advertisement, an affiliate offer or a link to other web page of your website. Whatever it is, you should be able to track the Click Through Rate (CTR) data and Analyze your results. Sometimes, by just changing the position of an ad or its color, you could get tremendously higher CTRs.

12. Conversion Rate:

Finally, it all ends here: Conversion Rate. A data that represents the ratio of visitors who convert into a desired action by the total number of visitors. No matter if it is impressions, clicks, a simple download, free sign up, a trial or a purchase. You need to know how many people have converted, what’s the percentage and how you can improve it. With some reliable tracking software, it is possible to determine a desired action or completed goal and check if you have received any result or not.

While there are tons of Tracking and Analyzing Programs out there that can help you monitor your website and find out the weak and powerful points, I can only recommend one FREE program. As mentioned before, it is called Google Analytics and empowers everyone to test, track and analyze their site traffic with tons of compelling features.

By Analyzing Your Own Website you could tweak your site performance and deliver the exact thing your audience is looking for. You might not overlook this step if you want better results.

Tracking Your Own Website

Tracking Your Own Website is the last step of making and managing a website that everybody may not overlook. In order to find out what has worked and what has not, you need to track your website from all current aspects. That way, you would be able to test various methods and strategies, analyze your tracking results and improve your website performance.

If you don’t track your website, you would put all your efforts to waste and lose money. Even if you don’t lose, you would miss a lot of money on the table. You see, tracking is not about realizing how stuff works, rather it is about what stuff works.

If you track your own web pages precisely and properly, you will lower your hard work and increase your profits. This process is such an extensive process that cannot be simply covered in a single article. In fact, there are tons of features, factors and elements related to your website that could be tracked and tested on the Internet. By figuring out every single aspect of the entire process, you can move your online business to the next level, creating and running a website that works.

Website Tracking is generally referred as an act of recording and monitoring changes made to the website and tracing the flow of visitors to and from the web pages. With that being said, we can basically divide the process into 2 sections; Tracking the Traffic Sources and Tracking the User Experience.

1. Tracking the Traffic Sources:

This action is finding out the source of your visitors. You need to know what web pages have sent you the most traffic. Whether it is an authority website, a search engine or a simple blog, you must figure it out and realize if the traffic is targeted and qualified. That way, you should improve the source of traffic and increase the conversions which in turn can result in higher profit margins.

The most popular aspects of checking Traffic Sources that should be tracked and monitored are:

  • Direct Traffic: People who visit your website directly from their Internet browsers.
  • Referring Sites: Other web pages linking directly to your website and referring visitors to yours.
  • Search Engines like Google, Yahoo! and MSN that are mostly the main source of web traffic.
  • Keywords that are connected to the Search Engines & reveal the topics people want to search.

Testing each and every source of traffic to your own web pages enables you to find out what the best, targeted and high quality traffic is. Then, your job should be focusing on those sources and improving them. That way, your conversion rates will reach the roof and you will get the most out of your efforts.

2. Tracking the User Experience:

Sometimes, it is not only enough to know your Website Traffic Sources. You would need to know what your visitors do on your web pages, which part they see and interact, what pages they visit, which links they click and so forth. It is called the User Experience and plays a very large role for determining your site conversion rate.

Conversion Rate is a ratio of visitors who make the needed commitment and convert to a desired action based on your request. So, if, for example, you want your audience just to click on an ad or a link, your web page must lead the visitor to that action. Then, you need to be informed if it is done properly or not. That´s when Tracking the User Experience comes to play.

The most popular aspects of checking User Experience that should be tracked and monitored are:

  • Click Through Rate: The ratio of users clicking on an ad by the number of times it is shown.
  • Average Time On site: The time a visitor spends on a site for browsing and navigating.
  • Bounce Rate: The average percentage of visitors to a site who bounce away to a different site.
  • Conversion Rate: The ratio of people who took the desired action or fulfill the certain goals.

Now, you have learned how important it is to track your website traffic and user experience. No matter how you look at it, you have to get a tracking system to do all the work for you. You can either pay someone to create it for you which is a very costly process, use the FREE tools out there which is quite useful but not that comprehensive or use  an online paid tracking management system.

AdMinder is an Ad Tracking Tool that enables you to track response to your ads such as text links, banner ads, ezine ads,  etc. Now, you can efficiently manage your ad campaigns and easily calculate return on investment with the AdMinder website advertising manager.

HyperTracker is another Tracking solution for webmasters and advertisers who want to track, measure and view unlimited campaigns, automatically and instantly isolate which ads, visitors and products are productive and much much more.

And finally, if you are looking for a FREE solution, then I cannot find anything better than Google Analytics, a reliable tracking system that helps you track, test and improve your websites. If you don’t go for the paid solutions, then I highly recommend this tool from Google.

Bear in mind that Tracking Your Own Website should be always monitored and analyzed appropriately. In the next posts, we will talk about it more and show you how to Analyze your Own Website.

Selling Advertising Space

Selling Advertising Space is another alternative for monetizing your own website and has been one of the traditional and popular methods for site owners and publishers.

Sometimes, this monetization method is categorized under the Affiliate Marketing model due to its similarity. However, since the payment model is slightly different in this method, I thought it would be best if we put it as a special classification called Selling Advertising Space.

You see, like Affiliate Marketing, you would put other websites’ links and advertisements on your website. But, unlike Affiliate Marketing which is based on a special action such as sign up or purchase, this model is different. You would get paid based on CPC (Cost Per click), CPM (Cost Per Mille:1000 Impressions) or Fixed Pricing.

Selling Advertising Space could be the quickest way of cash flow for your business. Since, your visitors don’t need to buy or join anything, your conversion rate (the ratio of visitors who take the desired action) is much much higher.

Once your visitors view the advertisements (In CPM Model) or click through ads (In CPC Model) on your web pages, you will get paid. No matter what they will do afterwards, you will be rewarded and compensated. Sometimes, your visitors don’t even need to do anything in order to make you money. (In Fixed Pricing Model)

On the other hand, the earned revenue in this method compared with Affiliate Marketing is incredibly insignificant. I am talking about a few cents per click or impressions here and there while there are big affiliate commissions to be made in Selling Other People’s Stuff. That’s why relying only on this method is not recommended. You must have multiple streams of income. As you may know, you should not put all your eggs in one basket.

Like I said before, Selling Advertisement Space on your own website or blog should be regarded as the quickest way of monetization and running the cash flow. However, there are some demands and requirements to make as much money as possible from this model which would not fit any newly-published blog or website.

Two Common Requirements For Selling Advertising Space

1. In order to convince advertisers to buy an advertising space on your site or get approved by Ad Marketplaces and Networks, your website must be a high traffic website getting tons of unique visitors and page views each and every day. That way, your earnings would also boost and accelerate.

2. If you want to gain the confidence of advertisers and make them buy advertisement space on your site, you should increase the popularity of your website and get a higher Google PageRank. That way, many advertisers will be willing to buy an ad space on your site for Link Building and Search Engine Optimization purposes.

Regardless of which advertising model you want to choose and what requirements your website meet, you need to find Advertisers and Sponsors, have their ads published on your site and get paid.

How To Find & Run Sponsor Ads For Your Website

1. After getting your website up and running and adding high quality content to your web pages, your next job is to search, find and run advertisements on your website. The very first option is to just sign up for an Advertising Network as a Publisher or Webmaster and wait for getting approved. Then, you can whether let the network put ads on your site automatically or you select the advertisements manually.

2. The second option is to offer this opportunity to Advertisers and Sponsors on your own website by adding a specific section on your web pages called “Advertise Here”, “Become a Sponsor” or “Get Featured On This Website”. In this case, you will need to explain why people should advertise on your site and how they can do that. Also, you need to set the price and state the payment methods. On top of that, you have to assure the Advertisers which Ad Tracking Software you are going to use and how accurate and reliable it is.

While there are a large number of Ad Marketplaces and Advertising Networks on the Internet and more websites are added every single day, introducing all of them would be no use. However, for getting started and putting your feet in the water of online advertising, here are the top 5 advertising networks where you can choose from and start making money with your website as a publisher. Go ahead and check them out:

  • Clicksor.com
  • Infolinks.com
  • Skimlinks.com
  • BidVertiser.com
  • AdSense.Google.com

In the next posts, we will cover more aspects of this monetization model and tips on Selling Advertising Space On Your Website. Until then, subscribe to this Blog RSS Feed if you don’t want to miss the next articles!

Selling Other People’s Stuff

Selling Other People’s Stuff is one of the quickest and easiest ways of monetizing your website, a method that is quite effective and profitable. This type of monetization is commonly known as Affiliate Marketing, a business that is totally based on marketing other’s products and services.

In a nutshell, you will get paid if you refer visitors and targeted prospects to the merchant’s website that ends up with a sign up or sale. The customer would be happy because of finding the right product, the merchant would be pleased due to making a sale and you would be compensated for making these two parties satisfied. That’s how Affiliate Marketing Works.

While Affiliate Marketing is a very comprehensive topic and takes a lot of efforts to learn and master, it is doable. However, teaching Affiliate Marketing is not something directly related to the topic of this blog and providing a step-by-step blueprint would be out of the scope of this tutorial website.

On top of that, why would I want to reinvent the wheel, while it is already created for you?! Suffice to say, I am just going to point out some of the basic facts about Affiliate Marketing and then I will leave the rest up to the experts who know how it works such as the following guide:

The Super Affiliate Handbook by Rosalind Gardner

Basics Of Affiliate Marketing

1. Affiliates are normally referred as people who market other’s products and services while Merchants are companies that own the products and services.

2. There are 2 common types of compensation, revenue-sharing or payment model within Affiliate Marketing industry each of which acts as an agreement between the affiliates and merchants.

  • Pay Per Lead that is based on generating qualified Leads (Sign Ups)
  • Pay Per Sale that is based on generating completed Sales (Purchases)

3. In this industry, Affiliates are known as other terms such as Partners, Publishers, Referrers, Marketers and Promoters. On other side, Merchants are also called Companies, Advertisers, Sellers and Retailers.

4. To become an Affiliate for a particular Merchant, you need to sign up for its Affiliate Program. Some companies have their own in-house Affiliate Programs that you need to sign up whereas many others are enrolled into Affiliate Networks where you need to join once and then apply for each Merchant.

5. Some Merchants offer a Second-Tier or Multi-Tier program based on paying commissions into a hierarchical referral network of sign-ups and sub-affiliates. In other words, you will be paid, even if your sub-affiliate refers a lead or customer. In this case, you will have a Leveraged Income. However, this type of program exists in the minority of affiliate programs and is not as common as One-Tier Affiliate Program.

6. In most cases, many merchants offer one-time payments of commission. Yet, there are other companies offering recurring commissions which means you will get paid more than once. In this model, you will have a Residual Income for months and even years to come.

7. After getting approved by the network or the merchant, you will be given an exclusive and unique Affiliate or Referral Link that will be tracked for you and triggered to report your generated Leads and Sales.

The above-mentioned facts are a fraction of what we call Affiliate Marketing Principles. So far, you have learned how powerful and profitable this monetization method could be. If you educate yourself, you can become a Super Affiliate earning 5 or even 6 figures income just from your own website.

Now, I am going to name some of the most common types of Affiliate Websites that are often classified by merchants and affiliate networks and known for many affiliates and marketers. Hope it can be helpful for you, too.

Types of Affiliate Websites

The following types of websites are just based on what we have seen on the Internet as sources for generating affiliate commissions. However, this list is not a comprehensive list and more types can be added all the time.

1. Product Review Websites:

These are content and niche market websites that review and rate the existing products and services in particular markets and industries and refer their visitors through their affiliate links.

2. Blogs and Blogging Networks:

These websites are commonly maintained by posting news and articles about specific topics and subjects in reverse-chronological order and suggesting affiliate products. Sometimes, the affiliate links are only placed on Blogs as Sponsor Ads and Banners, nothing more.

3. Personal Websites:

These web pages were so well-known before, but now their popularity has been reduced due to irrelevancy. However, many celebrities and famous people can still monetize their Personal Websites with affiliate products.

4. Coupon and Rebate Websites:

These are resources where people can find and redeem coupons and discounts for specific merchants and companies. The bottom line is huge affiliate commissions.

5. Comparison Shopping Websites:

These websites and networks enable the users to compare two or more products and services and read the cons and pros. Then, the interested visitors have the opportunity to visit the merchant official website for more information through the affiliate´s referral link and guess what?! As soon as they buy something or register, the affiliate gets paid.

6. PPC Landing Pages:

These web pages are specifically designed for Pay Per click Advertising particularly from Search Engines and will refer the visitor directly to the merchant website. If the visitor who comes after a query search finds relative content on these landing pages, he/she will take the desired action which is visiting the merchant website and purchasing the searched product. Here, relevancy is the secret key to success.

7. E-Mail Opt-In Pages:

These web pages are especially created for taking the name and e-mail address of targeted visitors and sending them relevant messages containing affiliate recommendations. Once you make people opt-in and subscribe to your mailing list, you will have the opportunity to contact them forever. That way, you can make money from one single subscriber over and over again. That´s why, this model is very profitable.

8. Loyalty Websites:

Although these types of websites don´t work for all of existing products and services, they can bring a lot of affiliate commissions by providing a reward system for purchases via points back, cash back or charitable donations.

9. Co-Registration Websites:

These types of websites act as a registration path where people have the chance to be exposed by merchant offers during the time they register for the main website. So, not only the main website gets registered users which can contact them later for promotional purposes, but also it has the chance to refer some of those users to a merchant website through an affiliate link and earn good commissions.

10. CPA Networks:

These websites are huge networks combined of two parts: Affiliates and Merchants. They expose Merchant’s offers to a large network of Affiliates which they will in turn promote the offers through their ways and methods. Since the payment model is based on the top-tier affiliates activities, CPA Networks are big money makers because of providing a lot of promoters for merchant offers. In fact, their payment model is commonly known as Cost Per Action or CPA.

Affiliate Marketing models and methods do not end here. There are literally tons of tips and tricks in this kind of monetization method and a lot of trained super affiliates earning extra-ordinary full-time income just by Selling Other People’s Stuff.

Selling Your Own Stuff

Selling Your Own Stuff is one of the ways of website monetization. In most cases, the main goal of your own website can be introducing and selling your own products or services.

Own stuff you could sell on your website can be categorized into 4 main groups. Further, we will be talking about each of them in detail.

  1. Physical Products
  2. Digital Products
  3. Offline Services
  4. Online Services

No matter what you are going to sell on your website, it is highly essential for you to know what kind of customers you will attract. That way, you would know how to build and market your own website that is created around your own stuff.

Now, we are going to get through each groups of stuff very briefly and concisely. More specific information will be added later.

1. Physical Products:

These kind of stuff can take any form of tangible goods and products from handmade to factory-made. Electronics, Apparel, Tools, Foods, you name it. You can be an independent merchant or an online retail store. You can even have your own offline store and need a website as your official web page. The point is to reach more customers as much as possible.

That´s why creating a functional and user-friendly web store is so important. Your website should reflect your hard goods and products in a way that attracts the visitors attention, increases their interests and calls them to action which is purchasing your own physical products.

Apart from your own business website which is your own brand on the Internet, you will need the following tools, as well:

  • Order Processing System
  • Product Shipping Management
  • Customer Support Center

2. Digital Products:

These stuff are commonly every products that can be delivered digitally. E-Books, E-Guides, E-Courses, E-Sounds, Software are a few examples of digital products. You, as the owner of the product, will need to have your own website, a place where people will be able to read and review your sales pitch and buy your E-Goods.

Again, you will need some other tools aside from your own website to sell your digital products.

  • Order Processing System
  • Product Delivery Management
  • Customer Support Center

Create an E-Goods Seller Website!

3. Offline Services:

Promoting an offline service through website is not a new concept. Today, each real local business has an official website where people can visit and browse the latest news and offers. Dentists, Consultants, Real Estate Agencies, Sport Clubs are all a few examples of services that can be promoted online, as well.

In this case, you would be let off with the Product Shipping or Delivery System, but the following tools remain important:

  • Order Processing System
  • Customer Support Center

4. Online Services:

These stuff are services that can be only delivered online. The difference between them and digital products is that Online Services are mainly accessible on the web like a program. But, digital products are commonly downloadable stuff.

Membership Programs are the best examples of this group. While building an Online Service is not a regular task for every average guy, it is possible. There are many services on the web created by ordinary people just because of providing value to the end users. Now, the owners have become the top Internet entrepreneurs.

The following tools might be necessary for building an Online Service, apart from the official website:

  • Order Processing System

Social Media Marketing

Social Media Marketing is considered as one of the newest methods of getting traffic to your website and marketing a special product or service. Recently, this promotional channel has become so powerful that big companies and merchants are taking the most advantage of it, too. Maybe you should think about it, as well.

Social Media is a collective group of web properties whose content is primarily published by users, not its staffs and employees. Sometimes it is called Web 2.0 as the new era of Internet and World Wide Web due to the dynamic contribution of website users for adding content and managing the communities.

Because of this new feature, many websites have turned into networks and communities where visitors play a very large role for maintaining them. That´s why the number of users in these kinds of websites and networks is growing all the time and has become a phenomenon in our age.

It is very important to explain what Social Media is and what it is not. Sometimes, many people confuse it with advertising on social networking sites. Advertising that appears on these websites is mostly in the form of context or social action based. Networks monitor what the users are doing and place relevant ads next to them with the assumption that they will be clicked.

Social Media Marketing is not about spamming, copying certain links and pasting it in discussion groups and forums. It is essential to give value to the people with whom you are having a dialogue. It is about building relationship and getting credit.

Social Media Marketing is all about cooperation and association between Internet users. It is about participating with everyone and sharing with them ideas and information. It is as much about giving as it is about receiving from the group. The main goal of this type of  marketing is engaging with the consumer and providing value. Nothing more!

With that being said, the power of Social Media is so clear. However, I am going to  point out 3 reasons why it is an amazing method of branding and marketing:

1. The Traffic is Unlimited.

The number of Social Media sites and their users is increasing all the time. It means an unlimited source of traffic containing real visitors with different interests and various demographics.

2. The Traffic is FREE.

Apart from advertising on Social Media websites, this method is absolutely FREE. You do not need to pay anything for joining and contributing with these websites. As soon as you create your profile, you will be able to get as much as possible without paying a single dime.

3. The Traffic is Targeted.

The third feature of this kind of marketing is the ability to get targeted visitors. You can find groups, networks and communities created specifically around your desired topic and the only thing you need to do is to just get involved. Sometimes, the traffic is even more targeted than the search engines!

Social Media can take many different forms from forums, groups and blogs to photo, audio and video sharing websites. Marketing on these websites should be precisely performed according to the theme of the network. That´s why Social Media Marketing is an art and science, not a bunch of information.

While covering every aspect of Social Media Marketing is out of the scope of this website, I do my best to mention the most essential facts such as introducing the top Social Media Websites.

E-Mail Marketing

E-Mail Marketing is one of the most powerful forms of online marketing that empowers the usage of electronic mail and considered as the goldmine for most of Internet Marketers.

Having a list of targeted prospects is something that every merchant is looking for. It is regarded as a list that could bring you tons of money. That´s why many people state that the money is in the list.

E-Mail Marketing is a recommended way of getting traffic and promoting a website or product. While there are so many reasons that prove this fact, I am about to point out to only 3 of them:

1. The Traffic is FREE.

You do not need to pay anything. Once you build and grow your E-Mail list, it is yours forever. So, every time you send a message to your contact list containing a link, you will get FREE traffic to that web page.

2. The Traffic is On-Demand.

No matter you communicate with your list now or tomorrow, early in the morning or late night, middle of the week or during the weekend, whenever you send them a message, you get traffic. It is called On-Demand and gives a lot of flexibility to your business.

3. The Traffic is Targeted.

If you build a list of prospects for a special topic and send them only what they are interested in, then you have created and warmed up a list of targeted people that bring your targeted traffic. That´s why E-Mail Marketing is so profitable if done properly.

However, acquiring a list of targeted customers is not a simple job. Back in late 90´s, everyone was quite surprised by getting a single E-Mail message because it was something exciting. But today, it´s different. You would even wish your inbox to be empty. Frankly, many people are really tired of tons of commercial E-Mails that they receive day in day out.

With that being said, using E-Mail communication, as one of direct marketing methods, should be done very carefully to maintain its effectiveness. On top of that, you need to be more cautious and avoid violating the legal requirements. Sending unsolicited commercial messages to everyone is called Spamming and is now regraded as an Internet crime and requests very strict penalties.

Before you even think about creating an E-Mail list and start promoting your website through this channel, you need to educate yourself. You have to discover the basics, tips, tricks and secrets of E-Mail Marketing in order to harness its power and take the most out of it.

While learning E-Mail Marketing is like studying a scientific course and takes a long time to accomplish, it is not unreachable. However, I am going to cover the most important basics of this method and then let you continue the process of learning by recommending the best E-Mail Marketing courses out there. Hope you will find it useful.

The Basics Of E-Mail Marketing

1. The very first thing you need to do is to register for an autoresponder. An autoresponder is a program which automatically answers E-Mail messages sent to it. In other words, it is an E-Mail Marketing and management tool that automates the entire process such as getting subscsriber´s contact information, sorting them into certain lists, sending them pre-written messages and broadcasting.

There are tons of great autoresponders out there with amazing and powerful features which I am not going to get through all of them now. However, there are only 2 services which meet my criteria and I highly recommend them. GetResponse is one of them that I personally use and I’m very happy with this great autoresponder. The second one is AWeber which is also a trusted service used by many top marketers and web businesses. Both are very affordable.

2. Always collect at least 2 data of the subscriber´s contact information; preferably First Name and E-Mail Address (Of Course!). That way, you will be able to personalize your E-Mail Messages which is very effective.

3. Set your marketing campaign as Double Opt-In, not Single Opt-In which means that the subscriber must reconfirm his/her subscription by clicking manually a link in the first message. This way, you will have an incisive proof and avoid getting Spam complaints.

4. Try to sort and target your E-Mail contact list as precise as possible. Not only it helps you manage your list in a very easier way, but also your subscriber will get relevant messages. That´s how E-Mail Marketing should work.

5. Bear in mind that building and growing a list is one thing, warming it up is another. You cannot just create an E-Mail list and forget it and expect great results. You have to build a relationship with your list and get credit as much as possible. That way, you will create a responsive list that trusts you and takes your recommendations seriously which means more profit for you. Successful E-Mail Marketers have proved this fact by creating hugely warm lists.

6. Do not EVER exaggerate your E-mail Marketing efforts. Sending too many commercial messages to even a warmed list is not effective. Remember that E-Mail Marketing should be used as a form of communication, not a promotional method.

7. Try to personalize your messages every now and then. People see it as a direct E-Mail from you and pay more attention to what you are telling them. Treat them as your close friends and talk to them politely and personally. That way, your response rate will reach the roof and bring you great results.

You see how wide E-Mail Marketing is and how powerful it could be. On top of that, this method could turn into a very high-risky promotional method that would end up with trouble and loss. So, education plays a very large role.

The E-mail Marketing basics do not end here. As mentioned before, there are tons of other tips and tricks that you have to discover and implement in order to succeed. Besides, the rules and regulations are always changing and being an up-to-date marketer is a necessity. That´s why a proven guide comes to play.

I have been marketing on the Internet for more than 5 years now and seen a lot of E-Books, guides and courses come and gone. I have checked out lots of them and read the reviews. I have even tried some of them and got to know what they are about. Unfortunately, many of them are useless.

Hopefully, I found a course that delivers what it promises and it does it well. It is developed by a successful team of marketers that E-Mail Marketing is one of their expertise. I am NOT talking about some gurus that have collected their theories and sold it as an ultimate guide. I am talking about real experts giving away their most advanced E-Mail Marketing secrets to you.

So, if you want to move your E-Mail Marketing to the next level, then this course is for you. I highly suggest you to at least check it out now and give it a try. It is worth it!
